Oxfordshire Family Support Network (OxFSN)
We recognise the wide range of abilities that come under the umbrella of Learning Disabilities. We aim to promote the involvement of parents & family carers working in partnership with professionals and voluntary bodies across Oxfordshire to promote the independence of all people with learning disabilities and to improve the quality of life for them and their families.
The direction and running of the OxFSN is determined solely by parents and family carers. There is a healthy need for parents and family carers to become part of the Management Committee and we invite you to get in touch if this aspect interests you.
Who is the Network for:
- We are for all family carers and relatives of people with a learning disability (of any age) living in Oxfordshire and neighbouring counties who feel that they may benefit from our services
- We are for all family carers and relatives who have adopted, fostered, or taken on the permanent care of a person with a learning disability
